Fail

I am almost embarrassed to put this picture on an esteemed photography website so please file it under the diary element.  I went to pick Woody up from kennels under instructions from V to film his joyous response to my arrival but did that thing where I thought I’d pressed ‘record’ but actually pressed it on then immediately off.  I was juggling excited dog, bag, car keys but there is no denying I totally failed.  I will never make a news cameraman.  I took this hoping for a sort of reportage effect and sent it to V…as a documentary maker he normally catches these moments perfectly. 

Woody followed me everywhere once we got home , perching awkwardly on small chairs when i was sorting out something in the spare room. 

Other than that it was a busy day with a lot of zooms and emails and reading.  Some bad news from a Scottish institution who had been engaging with us but now aren’t but at least the budget is going in the right direction
