Early daffs

Of course most bulbs span a long season, there are snowdrops in the East Meon churchyard before Christmas every year and we get a few daffodils in February, one loud bright yellow variety is even called February Gold but these are definitely early.  I think the warm sunny days coupled with not much rain has brought them out in sunny areas.  The snowdrops are amazing too, not having been battered down by rain this year.    I have ordered some more to plant ‘in the green’ in that lovely phrase.

Because a mix of half term, the rest of the team on set, limping to a Covid-y finish,  or story lining, I only had one meeting today so managed to catch up with a lot. I also went into Petersfield and completed a long delayed errand.  Very satisfying.
