A misty day

Out with the walking group today. 4.5 miles from Wheelton. Shorter than usual because of time restraints for some of the group. One car load got lost finding the start of the walk though! Once we were all together we set off, just as the rain started. It was that very misty rain so it wasn't too unpleasant but we still got soaked!

It was a really good walk despite the weather, with lots of stiles! What a shame we missed the views from the top of the hill, they would be super on a good day. As it was we couldn't see the tops of the hills opposite. It would certainly be a walk to repeat on a better day.

As usual we ended up with a pub lunch, as we tried to dry out. Time to put the washing machine on now as I ended up filthy! A great day.
