I made a decision I wasn't sure about at work today. I told a colleague what I'd done and she told me what I should have done but not to worry. I apologised to the colleague whose authority I'd unwittingly undermined and he said, 'Worse things happen at sea'.

Coincidentally I am also helping to draft a staff questionnaire at the moment in which one of the statements is, 'I feel supported by my colleagues.'
