After a fraught start to the year and a long winter what a welcome blast of summer we had today in Auld reekie.

Even better was a culmination of news :
several different people getting the all clear on health issues.

Delightful lunch on sunscorched terrace - you gotta to soak up that vitamin D!

Leisurely stroll to garden shop and a splurge on more seeds and bulbs. (oh and a big wooden planting tub that was simply irresistible.

note to self: next time you purchase large sack of compost TAKE WHEELS to transport it home!!!
