Rain on Parade

Oh Norway, I wouldn't rain on your parade for the world - particularly as we're related.

Norwegian Parade marking Independence as a nation. Only caught the tail end of it before they disappeared round the corner.
Spirits seemed good in spite of the awful weather.

Earlier Blip than usual due to weather and reckoning it's not likely to improve anytime soon so abandoning thoughts of taking camera out.

Tried seriously to avoid posting any more shots but it was a rotten rule considering this HORRIBLE WEATHER....

Decided to monochrome out the police officers - nothing personal but simply because all this Lime green glowing neon just takes over.

I know, I know, Health & Safety, it's essential for cyclists, police, anyone from the council, Uncle Tom Cobbley and...
but it's so UGLY, upsets colour balance and it's everywhere!

I love colour but Bl & Wh seems the way forward for events like these.

Anyway, please note that no care whatsoever was taken over colour adjustments - quick sweep of colour through the centre of the crowd.
It's vereee rough and I'm fine with that.
