Fool's Spring

A cold wind, and a cloudy start to the day, but it wasn't long before the sun came out. Cold again tonight, but still fine.

Early shift in the airport again today.  I checked in some oil and gas flights, then moved onto meeting and boarding flights.  Back to the check-in desk in the afternoon.  Fairly quiet flights, all on time.  I've been working in the shop this evening, and a fairly quiet night.  Off to bed early again. 

Out of the chilly wind, it was a lovely day.  If it wasn't halfway through February, you'd be fooled into thinking spring is here.  I saw on social media, we are currently sitting at fool's spring, second winter is just around the corner.  Winter does last a very long time here in Shetland, sometimes we skip spring and move to summer.  Anyways, I enjoyed the spring like weather on my lunch break.  Taken below the Sumburgh Hotel, looking towards Jarlshof.
