Eek, flowers!

Early spring brings joy.
Bursting forth, first slow then.. boom..
flowers everywhere!

I love seeing the first crocuses.  It speaks of such promise.  I think this might be my favourite time of year to actually 'Be' in.  It feels like you're only moving forwards and all the cold and dark is behind you :-)  Obviously, really my favourite season is summer with the Actual Warmth but when I'm there I do worry about how quickly it's going and whether I am enjoying it quite enough... It's (I'm) complicated... 
Today was mixed, I was pleased with the night and morning, given that Mr KCNQ2Haiku wasn't here.  I took Leo for a wee at 3am and then Ben woke at 5:30am and I gave him his iPad, Leo stirred but I left him and he settled until I got up at 6am so that was a thumbs up.  Ben went back to school and that was mostly OK.  I had home start this morning, we went for a walk, Leo had a blast sniffing all the sniffs.  He was shattered afterwards.  There was a bit of drama at school with another child having a bit of a crisis so pick up was a bit strange but school were managing everything and directing the cars and taxis to keep everyone safe.  Ben was mostly oblivious and the journey was good but he was awful once we got home, really violent and difficult.  We worked it through eventually and things have been strained but OK and .. drumroll.. Mr KCNQ2Haiku is home :-D He's been away about 36 hours but I was very pleased to see him!
