Car wash

Sun, car wash and woods.

Can't take many yesterdays..
But much better day :-)

Mr KCNQ2Haiku is in London with work for a few days, so I definitely needed Ben to be feeling better today... fortunately he has been great.  We got up at 5am to take Mr KCNQ2Haiku to the station and from the start I could tell he was feeling better and his behaviour has been much improved.  He's had a couple of tricky moments but he's been motivated to hold it together and earn good treats, so we are winning.  Clearly it's not quite bedtime yet, so I don't want to tempt fate.. but it's such a relief.
Leo has been living his best life, playing football in the garden in the sunshine and we had a big walk in the woods, he got sniffed by a large staffie, which I thought would freak him out but he just stayed really still and then afterwards he was pulling to follow him.  He's seems very timid but he often surprises me by taking things in his stride.  One thing he doesn't like is car washes :-/ I took Ben after lunch today as he'd been so good (see photo) and I stupidly didn't really think about Leo being overwhelmed until we were in there and he was Not A Fan.  Gave a couple of barks and then just sat still looking at me with an air of "I used to trust you, but that's all over now.."  Whoops.  I gave him a treat and then we went to the woods so I'm hoping he's not too broken and scarred!
Ben is desperate to go back to school tomorrow, so hopefully that will go well and we'll be back on track.
