Iguana

We left Cahuita after breakfast and drove 170 km north west to Heredia province, stopping several times to look at sloths which Fred the driver is adept at spotting.
Lunch at an unprepossessing cafe was exceptional - Caribbean chicken with rice and beans.
The hotel in Sarapiqui has hot and cold water, WiFi of sorts and a stunning location with various types of iguanas lounging around. A swish of their tails can be highly dangerous.
The afternoon included a visit to a women’s cooperative chocolate factory and a very detailed three hour tour of the plantation which Involved crossing a 250m long suspension bridge, almost the wrong side of exciting, the extra.
