Sleepless night followed by a busy day despite cancelling most of my plans
Wasn’t feeling the treat of dinner out. My friends restaurant in Edinburgh beckoned, La Bruschetta which has the most perfect authentic Italian food but once I got there and the food started flowing I cheered up. Giovanni spotted us from the kitchen and we had a great catch up followed by birthday cake and limoncellos.
A wee Aperol in Whighams for old times sake, surprisingly quiet for a rugby weekend and then home and bed by 9pm.
