The Trouble with Truffles

Today has been mostly Truffle.  Soft Truffle to be precise.

Discovering that this half-can is also a tad past its best-before date as there's plenty of bits from the can edge in it.  Good enough for a first coat though.

Curiously, given this was the colour used to paint the hall, I touched up a few marks and scratches - only to discover that some aspect of either storage, or on-the-wall maturing, means that this paint is now a different shade to what is on the wall, despite being the exact same can.
