Bye to Doris

Over to Wells next the Sea to say goodbye to RNLB Doris M Mann of Ampthill who has had over 600 shouts in a 32 year career and was being retired today following arrival of new lifeboat for the new lifeboat house. Community turned out along with Blakeney Wild Rovers who sang shanties and songs of the sea. From there it was out to the Carpenters' Arms in Wighton for a rather delicious Sunday lunch, Home to potter, read, watch football on BT Sport and continue chilling.
