New in

Lie in, papers, sorting cars, hot breakfast - a nice start to the weekend after a busy half term. Pottered for the rest of the day with some report writing; arrival of several new books - this one was linked to my work in Iceland - I have quite a few colleagues there today and they have all been confined to the hotel due to hurricane force winds which mean the roads are closed. Started in on Nick Acheson's book on geese which is set in and around the area where I live and full of familiar places and landscapes.
