White Willow

A trip to the grounds of Dumfries House today and like all outings it began with coffee in the cafe.

It was rather windy but the gardeners working in the Walled Garden were coping well as they prepared the ground for some seasonal plantings.

The ground round the two ponds was a bit boggy so care needed when trying to take a photo of the Salix twigs.

Our final walk was through the Woodland and Rothesay Gardens leading us back to the car park.
