Maxwell Park is a good place to get reasonable closeups of the resident waterfowl …… Moorhens, Coots, Mallards, Tufted Ducks and a pair of juvenile Swans ….. Black-headed Gulls and Pigeons arrive on a daily basis.

A doggie day. First I took Holly the Cockerpoo to Maxwell Park and then I had Keta the Border Terrier who had her first walk while wearing a muzzle. She is wonderful with people but not with other dogs. If I see another dog coming we adopt evasive tactics but just occasionally dogs can appear from nowhere and that’s when the barking and pulling starts. Morna is working with a dog therapist and hoping for good results.
