The plumber arrived again this morning so I was late for upholstery. Got some of my foot stool done but not as much as I’d hoped. It was ever thus! Plumber think he has fixed the leak but time will tell. Fingers crossed! . Arrived home hoping the owner of the flooring shop would arrive after 15 mins( as arranged) to have a look at a small problem in the kitchen. Looks like he got the time wrong though/ he’d already been! Set off to Mk - easy journey and went straight to ikea. The Nottingham one is in a very inconvenient place for me and parting there is often tricky so if I can fit it in with an MK trip I do. Managed to spend £100 on what I thought was a few photo frames! Wasn’t in the mood for a mooch around so went to Waitrose to kill some time before arriving 30 mins early at Cs. Only four of us for book group this time, but nice to see those who could make it . Was a bitlatewith photographing the food - it was delicious! Chad very kindly started at 6 so I was home before 11
