Lunch

Had lunch with a friend at a shabby chic wine bar by Borough Market. We were opposite an old grave yard, significant because it was once the graveyard for prostitutes and paupers, with up to 15,000 buried there, many of the former were licensed by the Bishop of Winchester. Of course, they had to be buried outside the city walls, given they were ladies of ill-repute.

It was a very good lunch, great to catch up on many things.

Left home with out my coat this morning (thought it was already in the car), and work pass (in my coat pocket), lap top battery died on the train, which was late, forgot to take purse to lunch (I wasn't buying, but still, poor form). However, got an earlier train home and managed to get the buffet car to serve me before we had left the station.

Reports from home are that the boys have been fantastic today. Youngest took himself off to get dressed and brush his teeth without being asked. Little bit proud of him for that.
