It's cold!

He was very sure that it was time for sandals when we went out, but ended up with my scarf wrapped around him, head down into the wind. 

Tired children this morning, exhausted from a busy weekend and not helped by playing (very quietly) rather than going to sleep.  The desire to get up and out was severely lacking in them.  Early nights all round this evening.  

They came home quite happy though.  They had a CPR lesson at school today, the eldest was called away on a special task - not sure if that was deliberate or not, as the youngest had the full lesson. They both seem ok about it. Advice from the husband is that I shouldn't worry so much about it all, he probably has a point. 

Today I'm grateful for:
The boys telling me about their CPR lesson (or lack of) 
The ban on toys in bedrooms at bed time - and the quietness coming from upstairs this evening! 
A lady in the park asking her children to play with the youngest as he was too shy to go up and play with them.
