Another great day!

We started a glorious sunny but very chilly day with a good breakfast. On our drive along the coast we stopped at Lee on Solent and walked along the beach by these beach huts. The sea was flat calm. It looked lovely! Our son told us about the Fort Nelson Museum near Farnham. It was a really worthwhile visit and it was free! During the afternoon we sat on the beach with our hoods up as it was chilly but we wanted to see the hovercraft land right beside us. We sat and read in the sunshine and the hovercraft didn’t disappoint. We’d never seen one up close landing before…..simple pleasures eh! We drove back to the Travelodge and took a walk through the city centre. Another good day. Home on the Day Ferry tomorrow. 7 hour journey but we love it. We have to check in at 7.30am but we are only 5 mins from the port.
