Portsmouth

We left the family this morning and headed off to Southampton then Portsmouth. We are staying here 2 nights. We’ve always wanted to go up the Spinnaker Tower at Gunwarf Quays so today was our chance. The weather was glorious but chilly. The views from the top were amazing. I even stood on the glass floor and looked down. You may notice a bruised chin on my face…..I tripped over a feather!! I was out for a walk with my daughter in law on Saturday and for no reason tripped and fell. Bruised ego, chin, knees and a bruised swollen hand but no permanent damage! I was carrying 2 French baguettes and they didn’t fare too well either. A very sweet Romanian lady was approaching as I fell and helped my daughter in law to help me up and gave me tissues to wipe my face, bless her. That was before I had the G&T yesterday!!
