Seek And Ye Shall Find

............ a beautiful sunny day so I couldn’t resist a bit of a walk. I trudged up the hill to see if I could see the skylarks or any other interesting wildlife that happened to be around but apart from a large flock of rooks feeding in one of the fields there was nothing to be found.
On my return to the village I turned the corner into the road I live in and promptly came across today’s blip fishing in the brook that runs along the bottom of someone’s garden .......... then ten seconds later I spotted the extras, calmly strutting up the road.
So I saw more wildlife within 100m of home than I did in the vast expanse of countryside that surrounds the village ......... oh well, at least I got some fresh air and exercise ;-)))
