Loch Garten.

More of the Caledonian Forest, once covering over 70% of Scotland but now just 1% (what reckless destruction we humans can achieve!!)

Today we went to Loch Garten and Loch Mallachie extending our planned route into the beautiful, serene forest of the Abernethy National Nature Reserve. 

Back at the lodge we celebrated (rather late but with authentic haggis and whiskey) Burns night.
