On guard duty

This snooty-looking lion is one of a pair guarding the cenotaph in George Square in Glasgow. He obviously takes his job very seriously.

I was in the city to meet Cousin Alison for lunch in Browns. The prawn and crab linguine we usually order was more expensive than the 2-course special - a no-brainer! - so I won't need to cook tonight.
