No Excuse Now..

So...I have here, right at my fingertips, many answers of where to start if I would like to paint today...or every day...These two long-neglected watercolour instruction books on my shelf have a plethora of ideas...from making washes fun by adding a variety of cloud formations, scribbling to create foliage, using a hollow twig or plant stalk to paint lichen on rocks, using masking to create ripples on water...so many little challenges to try...Reading about them has been so much fun..so motivating..

I thought maybe, rather than rush upstairs to paint right now, I could instead draw up a series of short painting exercises from those books - sort of create my own little lessons plans, decide upon a morning time slot to paint (I am too lethargic in the afternoon and even more so in the evening)... and perhaps do a trial run for a week ...maybe start with just Monday Wednesday and Friday?....break in gently to the "every day" thing?...I could do that...

AND, I could take the first morning  (maybe Monday?) to set up the craft room with painting supplies all ready to be used, so when Wednesday came, I would just have to step into the room .. all would be ready to sit down and paint..I could do that....

There are a lot of things I could do, but maybe not today... I have been thinking about them though.. so that could be a start in itself, n'est-ce pas? The first step? If so, mission accomplished...

That was easy....
