Not one, but three, kingfishers!

I know this is a pretty rubbish photo but today it is all about the experience - I just had to record it in my journal! I've never seen three kingfishers together at the same time before, and seldom seen a female, so it was amazing to watch two females competing over a disenchanted male! It all happened in the most un-photogenic location, too far away and, most of the time, partially/mostly obscured by twigs and branches. Nonetheless, I was transfixed :)
