Jadaf Walk

... which today is a noun as well as a verb!

G didn't have to go to school today because both of her kids had other things on, so she was able to join Diane and me for our Friday walk! As it was overcast, I suggested a new place. (One of the main reasons we walk in Al Seef is because it is shaded.)

Diane had never seen this walkway in Jadaf, so she was pleased to check it out. It was breezy but dry when we started, but it changed on the way back. Fortunately, I carried two umbrellas, so we didn't get too wet! We finished with coffee in Wafi, and because we were with Diane and her car, we did a grocery shop! Home the rest of the day. G's student came for her lesson.

On the car front - Asif, who gave us spare parts last Thursday, finally collected the parts we couldn't use and refunded the money. Wey hey. We could have had the car back before close of play, but because of the flooding caused by the rains we had, the mechanic couldn't do the pre-delivery test drive!
