Dull

G had a school trip today, so didn't have to leave as early as she usually does on a Thursday. I worked from home. It is so dark in this flat when the sun isn't out in the morning!

It didn't rain as much today, but we have been left (wonderfully) with cooler temperatures. I didn't want to miss out on it, so in the evening, we went for a walk around the park which houses the Dubai Frame. It felt so strange to wear windbreakers and gear that we only ever wear when on holiday in the UK. Neither of us took a camera which is just as well as it started to drizzle.

We finished with a karak tea at a new Yemeni restaurant that has opened with great views of the Frame.

I was hoping to get the car back today but must be patient as, in the words of Khalid, "major repair work is going on!"
