Swan. Leeds Liverpool canal. Rishton
The Feast Day of Saint Paul Miki and companions.
I have been shocked by the news of the Earthquake in Turkey and the nearby areas there. Prayers for all those caught up in the trauma and aftermath. They will need much international help for a long time.
Here in Rishton Blackburn, we woke up to frosty roofs. It is gradually melting but is 5c and feels colder, more like 2c. I have walked 5225 steps and my feet are not aching too much. It was quiet beside the canal where I stand, but further along near High Street bridge, a lady was feeding Canada Geese and they were making a wonderful cacophony of geese sounds, some appreciative, some sounded competitive.
My tracked parcel from Naissance arrived. I ordered some bottles of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, food grade standard so I can cook with it or make essential oil blends. My favourites are Lavender, Rosemary and Ylang Ylang, and I buy roller ball glass bottles from Amazon.
Monday is wash day so there is much housework to be getting on with.
It is time to make Paul his cheese and Marmite on toast.
Have a lovely Monday and keep warm blip friends.
