Budding artist..

Speaking to son #1 this morning and learning that S was in the park sketching, I called her phone… and she answered! I sensed my call had taken her by surprise as she didn’t stay on for long, but she did send a photo of her sketch. I gave her due Grammy praise.

A quiet afternoon before driving to Maidstone this evening to meet with friends for the traditional birthday meal of one of the group. There were eight of us but six of us had almost an hour’s drive to get there. Mmm, it had been booked by an adopted group member who lives much nearer.

Both journeys were good but returning at midnight we had the M20 almost to ourselves.

We’ve found a nearer and less expensive garage to do the repair job on our Mokka. And the receptionist was much nicer too. No diagnostic appointment required either as they were prepared to take the word of our very reliable and well-known mobile mechanic. Quids in already.
