Reigate heath…

…so my phone tells me. We stopped on our way through this afternoon so I could take this photo.

We’d returned to the Surrey Hills and our friends’ lodge to meet our friendly plumber after last weekend’s findings. Some things not as we thought but bigger things showed up, due to the freezing temperatures at the beginning of January while I was staying with them in Dubai. The plumber will sort it all, great man.

Then home to take our car for an official diagnosis of the problem. Our mechanic has told us we need a new radiator but he can’t do it because it involves the A/C being drained and re- booted ( my words) and he doesn’t have the equipment. Labour at the garage is £144 per hour. Then add VAT and parts…

In the meantime my MGF is doing a grand job just we can’t give lifts at the moment.
