Road trip!!

Started early for the drive to Carrbridge for our weeks holiday, I had to start early to bake the bread I was preparing yesterday.

RF got to mine around 7.30am and we were on our way by 8am. Although a long drive it was very easy, no issues en route and we  arrived around 6pm after a couple of stops for food and leg stretching.

The lodge is in a great location overlooking the small lochan at the site.

Thank you RF for the photo of the bleak, sleety rain soaked A9 shortly before or destination. I'm a fan of the bleak, wild countryside, it looks both threatening and strangely inviting at the same time.
