Blackness Castle

Thank you to IvarBlipS for reminding me about Blackness Castle. Many years since I last visited and the courtyard hasn’t got any flatter. Many, many stone steps, some straightforward and some in spiral form. Just a shame that the sun wasn’t shining.

There was a very interesting exhibition in the tower exploring the history of Scotland’s Coasts.
