Sunset Halo …

… around the Dents du Midi as I was stuck in a traffic jam late afternoon. It has been a bitty day with a visit to our old friend Rosemary who is still refusing to go into a home having been in one for two months with a broken arm. She got back yesterday and promptly scraped her arm against a wall causing a long, bloody scrape… so it goes on, so many people involved in trying to keep her safe. I keep saying that we don’t know what we will be like at the age of 94, probably just as cantankerous! 

Lots of miscellaneous shopping this afternoon including trying to find the best camera bag solution for Ladakh. I think I might have found it without going the heavy professional route. I like to be organised and it’s a month before I leave. 3 years in a row this « bucket list » trip has been cancelled. Hence all the recent references to Ladakh. 
 
Thanks for all the presents for yesterday’s blue snow formations and mountains. Apologies, I am not keeping up at the moment, the weather has been too good and I feel that high altitude training is something that I need to do at my age for the upcoming trip. Anyway I prefer to be out in the snow than on my iPad!
