Red Skies at 0752

A beautiful morning, but gales were still blowing.  The winds calmed, flat calm in the afternoon and this evening, but the rain came in after tea.

Last early shift of the week.  I was on the check-in desk first thing, then moved to meeting and boarding flights, back to check-in in the afternoon.  Another busy day of passengers, but not as chaotic.  Working in the shop this evening. It was a quiet evening, until the last hour.  A couple of pints tonight. 

A stunning sunrise started just before 8am this morning.  The skies turned pink and purple, usually a sign of a bad day of weather coming.  Thankfully we were let off, and actually had a nice enough day, apart from the biting cold wind in the morning.  Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
