Walkies in da Woods

Strong gales blowing again, dull, drizzle showers in the morning, and rain started late afternoon. 

Day off and up early.  A morning puttering about the house, finally getting out walkies with Sammy around Scalloway.  We headed out for another walk before lunch.  The afternoon was spent doing cleaning chores, even managed to get washing out, and fairly dry.  Early shift in the shop tonight, and a steady evening of customers.  Will try another walk, if it stays dry long enough. 

After being battered by the winds this morning, I decided to head north and get a walk in the shelter of the trees.  Sammy loves the forest, and can get off the lead for it too, even though I did loose him briefly!  I often wonder if the trees remind him of his former life, before I rescued him?  It was fairly soggy underfoot, but we enjoyed a break from the wind.  Taken in the deep dark Sullom forest.
