First outing of 2023

It was time and long past time to get out on Morrigan, and today I took advantage of the reasonable weather and bimbled around the lanes on a pre-spring shakedown. It was good to get out. Yes, she got filthy, but you all know the dirty girls are the best fun. Everything checked out except one tyre pressure sensor.

Here she is outside Chippenham Lodge near Chipping Sodbury; one of Dyson's homes and one where in 2015 he was reported to have built an underground swimming pool beneath the Grade I listed orangery without planning permission. Of course he received retrospective permission...

Fun to see the Green Party now have become the largest party in Bristol City Council after a byelection. The Labour Mayor is unlikely to let them do much for now, but then in a little over a year the mayoral role is to be scrapped. I wonder how/if this will change the city though, in the longer term.
