Cheddar Goats
We bimbled down to Cheddar Gorge and walked up it and down it, and I took plenty of shots of the dangerously narrow and windy road as it rises through the gigantic and cave pocked gorge. But how could I not blip this family?
Remarkably, when they crossed the road on a blind bend, the mother went first and very cautiously peered around the edge of the rock face in the right direction, looking with the experience of years for hot hatch drivers who think they're at Brands Hatch. Only when she was satisfied the road was clear did she beckon the kids (ah-ha) to follow her across.
Cheddar is one of those places best seen when the tourists are not there and when all the tacky gift shops are closed, but looking through the cliff shots, it's also good to have better weather. Fantastic place though, especially in a hot hatch...
