Road tunnels

These road and rail tunnels were on the journey this morning. They brought back a crazy memory of when my children were small. My husband was a bit of a trickster and anything to give the kids some excitement. He used to drive through these tunnels tooting the horn which made a great noise and back through the other one and do it all over again and the same a few miles down the road when we came to the next set. The tunnel on the right is for trains.
The extras are the type of country we experienced today. Visited my sister in Ashburton and were home by 5.30pm
It’s been a wonderful holiday and I am so glad I went. Washing on the line but much unpacking still to do
Today was 34% far too hot for me. Tonight now I am sitting down have a cooling fan going
