Cotswold lunch

We took a friend from town out of town to have lunch at another friend’s house today. It was a lovely meal with great company in a very restful rustic location. The traffic coming out of town as we drove home at 17h really surprised us. (Perhaps we need to get out at rush hour more often!) We passed two well known rural pubs we used to visit that have closed, quite suddenly, recently. The hospitality landscape is changing rapidly.
