Bedfordshire postbox number six

Spotted this the other day, not very far from us, almost walking distance, but needed to go into town to the post office today so went via the “London Road" which is also the old route of the A1.
The house wall in which it sits was obviously the old post office at one time, not sure how far back, but the sign in extras is on the left hand side of the same wall.
