"Ducks at play"

This little family of ducks were a lucky find yesterday and today when I went back for a quick blip they were missing :-(

I should have been at cardiac Physio but the cardiac nurse has suggested one session a week as my arthritis and fibromyalgia have told my body the sessions are just too much.

Instead I drove to the park nearby and had a try with f stop, slow shutter, movement, etc all of which bamboozle me as I am a seasoned "auto" snapper. This was more enjoyable and afterwards I sat and just listened to the birds and enjoyed a bit of sunshine. I managed to get a few shots of the waterfall there and they looked ok for my first bash at manual, P & S. (well by my standards)

Luckily I went back and spotted the duck family crossing the road and followed them around to a garden where they were all playfully bobbing about with one of them happily jumping up and swinging from the blossom branch. Mum just looked on obviously very proud but wanting me to keep a safe distance :-))))
