Won't Fit......

A dry sunny day,not bad for January.
Once everything was fed, left Kev on mucking out and bedding cattle while I headed off to Carnwath with the McCormick tractor and slurry tanker. A clear run so made it in an hour and 20 minutes. It makes you realise how bad the state of the roads are, especially in Midlothian ,when you are rattling over the pot holes with no suspension compared to a car.
Arthur was going to get his lunch before he gave me a run home ,so ended up having mince and chips from the food van up the road as well.
As soon as I saw the dribble bar that was going to get fitted to the tanker I spotted a problem. The ring diameter was far too big,31 inches instead of the 20 inches size ordered. How come nothing ever goes to plan ? Will need to speak to the boss tomorrow to see what they plan to do.
Back home and an afternoon spent catching up on all the things I should have been doing this morning, along with a wee trip to Dalkeith for some secret squirrel stuff that I can't mention yet.
The wind fairly picking up tonight, hope it stays dry.
