A Day At A Time.

Wide Blue Open

Hardly a soul on the beach this morning.

After an hour or so of sitting in the warm sun for our breakfast, we went off to Sabinillas market to see what was what. The newly-reopened market was rather similar to the old one. Mostly full of old junk, but very busy for all that.

On the way back, we stopped at a little venta on the road down from Manilva pueblo. There was a delicious-smelling barbecue on the go, so we opted for a couple of those.

After about 40 minutes of chilling rather literally in a stiff easterly breeze, we opted to go inside. Eventually the food arrived, which I thought was mediocre at best, but at least it was warm and filling.

We may go back, but 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon is definitely not the time to turn up at a place like this.
