Call it a Big Garden Birdwatch ?

They’ve all hidden.

Somebody told them.

I usually have a healthy supply of hungry birds. Not yesterday. Not Friday (the extra day the RSPB listed), and even not today.

It was gloomy on Friday and Saturday.
Today we had sun.

I even put out mealworms and bought some super birdseed. They had all the regular sunflower hearts and the extra expensive fatballs that the long tailed  tits enjoyed last week.

The odd one popped in -  like this moody and solitary goldfinch. There are usually at least twelve.

I bet they’re all back tomorrow……
