Back to Calke Abbey

It had been gloomy and chilly at home but, after the tennis was over, I went up to Calke Abbey (only really 40 miles away.)

Beautiful sunshine there.

Yes, it was chilly, and it didn’t last for more than an hour, but it was wonderful. I had a stroll around the grounds, which were very busy, and saw this handsome stag not far from the car park.

Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend. Has anyone else got deserted feeders ?  Somebody told the little blighters…..
