Brand new baby......

One of those days again.
This cow was PD empty back in May , but obviously she must have been in calf . If she was bulled at the end of April she wouldn't have shown up pregnant under 4-6 weeks.
Any way,got them out that shed and into a pen,milked out the cow,fed the calf and iodined it's navel.
Hopefully it will have the brains to suck by the morning.
Littlemiss off out to a party in town,Junior back for the weekend but still 'tired' after last night's 21 party he was at,and Mrs F and I off down to the village hall for the Burns Supper.
Put my kilt on and was relieved that it still fits as I haven't worn it anywhere since before lockdown,even if the straps were in the second last hole !
A good feed and a catch up with folk ,but no good with late nights these days !
