Up on the Mountain..

My Grandson Jayden sent me this photo from Big White Ski Mountain...he is skiing with his older sister. A perfect day up there with blue skies and -6C. He said the snow conditions were perfect as it snowed overnight.


Extra:  in the valley today it was 6C on my walk...warmish for this time of year..and really nice blue skies. ..... Brought out lots of families and bikers to make their way around the city side of Knox Mountain.


We are at home now.  Had quite the experience on our return trip from the resort to the Airport on a bus.  We were contacted about leaving earlier for our pick up as they expected severe rain...and did it come down. What would usually take just over an hour to get to the airport...took close to 5 hours.  The main highways were flooded..several areas impassable at times...and we arrived just in time to catch our 6 hour flight home.


We had a great time in Mexico...but we also love home...we have a good life here:-)
