Red Hellebore

Kat wanted a particular type of compost and searching the net she discovered a garden centre within striking distance she had known about.  It also had the compost she wanted.  Not having a car obviously she wanted us to visit the garden centre.

What a worthwhile visit.  I was particularly attracted by the many Hellebores they had for sale.  Many we hadn't seen before, the result was we came away with two, one very unusual, more of that when it flowers.  The shop was also very good with many items you don't see in other places.

New Hopetoun Gardens also has some example gardens laid out which if you lived near enough would be interesting to follow through the seasons.
