Queensbury Foodbank.
One of the positives to come out of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis is the sense of community which has been built in little pockets up and down the country.
They call Queensbury a village, which I'm not always sure is entirely accurate!! However, there is a sense of community from reminders about which bin to put out to alerts to areas where ice or snow is particularly bad...and more humourous things such as sightings of random geese splashing in the puddles on the many unmade roads!!
These wishstring bracelets are being sold to raise money to give back to those in the community who are in need. I have worn a wishstring bracelet for many, many years now. You tie them on and they remain until the string naturally comes apart. I always add on my little silver bichon charm, because Polly is a legend, and I just like them. It seemed rude not to purchase these two bracelets all things given. :-)
